I have learned a lot about Dorsey. I have learned that Dorsey School was not always called Dorsey school, the school was not always located at its present location, the school always seemed to be the center of activity, and Dorsey history can be followed by looking at the school, churches and cemeteries. I hope that this questionnaire will stir memories of your early school years. I truly believe that those stories are what make this community and country great. I hope this project will be able to preserve the history of Dorsey School and show the younger generation that although there are some differences in culture, the need for education is the same. Any thing that you think might be helpful to the next generation, please feel free to share.
