Itawamba Symphony/Pepsi Refresh

For several years now, Itawamba students have enjoyed the Itawamba Symphony's concert.  Several people within Itawamba County have worked diligently in bringing the Symphony to the students of Itawamba County; however, no one works any harder than Dr. George Marquis.  Dr. Marquis was inspired to begin this project because of his love for children.  He saw first hand how his own children benefited from having a musical background, and he wanted those benefits available to more Itawamba County School children.

Dr. Marquis, along with Pepsi,  is asking all supporters of the Itawamba County Schools, to please help provide the symphony in the fall to students by voting daily at http://www.refresheverything.com/itawambasymphony, texting 108507 to 73774, or getting a Pepsi account and voting.  His goal in doing this is to inspire rural Mississippi children through the musical arts.
