On March 7, 2011, a reception was held for the nominees for Itawamba County School District Parent of the Year.  Sarah Bryant was nominated from Tremont Attendance Center; Kenny Coker was nominated from Itawamba Attendance Center; Phillip Blackmon was nominated from Dorsey Attendance Center; Darla Adams was nominated from Fairview Attendance Center; and Stephanie Collier was nominated from Mantachie Attendance Center.  A private committee selected Kenny Coker as Itawamba County School District's Parent of the Year.  Congratulations Kenny Coker.
